A company operating in Arctic Canada is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician - Electrician for remote Long Range Radar Sites. The role involves monitoring and maintaining electrical systems, performing major and minor repairs, and providing training. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and at least 5 years of experience in an industrial setting. This position offers a 6 weeks on/6 weeks off rotation with comprehensive benefits and living arrangements provided.

NATURE AND SCOPE:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician - Electrician (FMT-E) has functional responsibility for monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting the serviceability of the facilities, the electrical distribution systems (along with their related equipment) at the NWS Short Range Radar (SRR) and Long-Range Radar (LRR) sites. This includes providing diagnostic, problem solving and repair capabilities.
This position is covered under the provision of the collective agreement with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (I.B.E.W.) Local 2228.
