Who You Are
  • Educated with a n Electrical Technician Diploma or equivalent training
  • Experienced with electrical test equipment, such as multi-meter, High Pot test, Insulation test. Experience working with pressurized systems an asset
  • Experienced in mechanical and electrical principals and procedures, optical principles and procedures an asset.
  • Ability to read electro-mechanical drawings and schematics
  • A strong communicator who writes and speaks effectively so you can build relationships
  • A team player who is willing and able to meet challenging customer requirements and schedules

  • A self-starter who can proactively manage their time and priorities to be successful

In this role, you will
  • Test, inspect, and troubleshoot rotary slip ring products (eg. electrical, optical, rotation, environmental sealing)
  • Perform Factory acceptance testing & support (incl. customer and certification agency witnessing)
  • Evaluate in-coming and perform out-going factory acceptance testing for products requiring servicing repair and / or refurbishment
  • Performance test support for incoming assemblies / components
  • Utilize engineering installation drawings to perform mechanical inspections
  • Complete and maintain test-inspection documentation / work records
  • Maintain test equipment and adhere to calibration requirements / schedules
  • Maintain and modify test area as required
  • Engineering design / product development testing and support
  • Adhere to ISO Quality System and other certified program requirement standards (e.g. HAZLOC, RoHS, etc.)
