Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Electrical Design Engineers to join our team in Pickering, Ontario, supporting major nuclear projects. This full-time permanent hybrid role offers the flexibility of both on-site and remote work. As a key contributor, you will support the design, execution, and delivery of critical infrastructure within the nuclear industry.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support electrical engineering design projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Conduct electrical power transient analysis, relay protection design, and coordination studies.
  • Specify and select appropriate electrical components to meet project needs.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and contractors.
  • Ensure strict compliance with nuclear and engineering codes and standards (e.g., CSA N299, N286.2, N286.7, N293.7, C22.1).
  • Apply OPG ECC processes and support the continuous improvement of engineering deliverables.
Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • 5–10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership in technical or team environments.
  • P.Eng. designation or eligibility for licensure in Ontario.
