A leading engineering staffing provider is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer for a 12-month term at their Medicine Hat Plant Site. You will lead projects across their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Ideal candidates possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and P.Eng designation, with a minimum of 6 years of experience. Term: 12 months (as work is available)
Designation: Electrical Engineering Degree with P.Eng required
Experience: Minimum 6 years, able to work with limited oversight
The Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for leading, reviewing, designing, and coordinating medium- to high-complexity, multi-disciplinary projects across their full lifecycle. This includes early‑stage research and definition, planning and estimating, detailed execution, commissioning, and project closeout. The role ensures all work adheres to established codes, internal engineering standards, and industry best practices.
In addition to project responsibilities, the E&I Engineer will provide specialized technical expertise to support ongoing plant operations. This includes diagnosing and resolving issues related to instrumentation, electrical systems, control systems, and safety systems to maintain reliability, performance, and compliance.
