Job summary

A leading railway services firm in Red Deer, Alberta is seeking an EHS Coordinator to ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations. This role involves training coordination, incident investigation, and collaboration with various teams while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and at least one year of relevant EHS experience. Flexibility for off-shifts is required, and knowledge of Alberta OHS Regulations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic familiarity with AAR/FRA regulatory requirements preferred.
• Working knowledge of Alberta OHS Regulations.
• Experience creating/delivering training content preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety training calendar and complete training documentation.
• Conduct shop floor observations of compliance requirements.
• Inventory and schedule hazardous waste disposal.
