A local educational institution in Zurich, Ontario, is seeking a Temporary Educational Assistant to support students' faith development and well-being. The role includes providing assistance to students academically and socially, fostering an inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will hold a two-year college diploma in Educational Support and have experience in educational settings. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate and is available immediately until June 26, 2026.
We are inviting applications for a 1.0 FTE Temporary Educational Assistant at St. Boniface School, Zurich.
The Educational Assistant supports students to positively impact their faith development, well‑being, and education. The Educational Assistant assists students while fostering and enhancing an inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities of this position include providing support to students for their academic, behaviour, safety, medical and physical needs. Educational assistants support students both individually and/or in a group setting. This position reports to the school Principal and works with the Special Education Resource Teacher (SERT) and classroom teacher.
This position will be available immediately until June 26, 2026. This position is 35 hours per week, at St. Boniface School, Zurich, Ontario. The rate of pay is $26.65-$30.14 plus 4% vacation pay.
