The E-Commerce Specialist reports directly to the Director of Ecommerce and works closely with the Customer Service team. This multifaceted e-commerce role will assume responsibility for all key e-commerce platforms. This includes conveying a consistent brand image for SUNPAN that attracts customers and leads to higher online sales conversion across the SUNPAN B2B e-commerce site and B2C e-commerce partner sites.

Principal Functions & Objectives
  • Take responsibility and accountability for all e-commerce platforms
  • Ensure each e-commerce customer meets and/or exceeds sales goals and gross margin objectives
  • Conduct research to identify new e-commerce platforms and retail partners.
  • Review, evaluate and set up new accounts. Meet with clients and assist them by completing application forms, preparing product list / price / inventory / imagery and align process of interchanging data and information. (EDI, API etc)
  • Maintain, update and ensure accuracy of product content, price, inventory and imagery on e-commerce sites at all times
  • Upload products into provided templates, ensuring all fields (title, description, SKU, dimensions, material, color, etc.) are accurately completed.
  • Work closely with Director of Ecommerce to develop promotions for the online partner sites
  • Manage adherence to MAP policy on e-commerce partner sites
  • Work closely with Director of Ecommerce, Product team & Marketing Team to ensure all product information specs, imagery are captured
  • Work closely with Inventory Analyst to ensure inventory feeds are properly loaded, and fulfillment of orders are performing within acceptable targets
  • Maintain reporting to monitor performance, product sales and trends to be shared within the organization
  • Other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned by the Director of E-Commerce
Key Skills and Experience
  • Post secondary diploma/degree in Marketing or related discipline
  • 3-5 years of E-Commerce experience, preferably in dealing with major online accounts
  • Marketing, Sales, or Account Management experience required
  • Knowledge of marketplace attribute requirements (Wayfair, Houzz) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large datasets accurately.
  • Proficient in Excel, including formulas (xlookup) and templates.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Experience in PIM systems is an asset.
  • Familiarity with furniture industry compliance standards (materials, safety regulations, certification documentation) is an asset.
  • Requires minimal guidance; can work independently while also collaborate cross-functionally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, analytical, and detail oriented
  • Self-starter, strategic thinker, and ambitious in nature
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working in a team environment
  • Strong interest in the furniture, home décor, interiors, or lifestyle markets is an asset
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time, while paying strict attention to detail
  • Travel – Must have ability to travel to meet online partners in the United States and Canada as needed
