Job summary

A leading digital asset company is seeking a talented Unity Engineer for a remote contractor role. Dapper Labs is looking for a talented and motivated Unity Engineer to join our team as a contractor (40 hrs/week).

You’ll be working closely with a cross-functional pipeline team of developers, designers, and product leads to help build the next generation of interactive digital collectibles.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain pipeline tools and interactive features in Unity (C#)
  • Contribute to internal tooling and pipelines to support scalable content workflows
  • Collaborate to determine the best implementations for various workflows
  • Collaborate on UI and UX implementation
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle: discovery, prototyping, iteration, optimization, and polish
Who You Are
  • 1–3 years+ experience developing in Unity with C#
  • Solid experience with Unity editor tooling or custom tool development
  • Comfortable with Git and contributing to production-ready projects
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment
  • Understanding and knowledge of 3D software (Blender, Maya etc.)
  • Strong fundamentals in software development, UI/UX, and game systems, especially for mobile
  • Bonus points for:
    • Python scripting or experience building tooling pipelines
    • Familiarity with Node.js or modern web frameworks
    • Shader development (HLSL/Shader Graph)
    • Runtime mesh generation
    • Released game titles
    • Experience with Addressables, WebGL builds, or animation systems
