Overview

Divisional Support and Communications Liaison

Divisional Support and Communications Liaison role at Yee Hong Centre For Geriatric Care.

Responsibilities
  • Supports implementation of the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP) including planning, recruitment, develop flyers and press release for publicity, coordinate leaders’ training, provide program materials and support; data-based and statistics of all programs.
  • Develops and keeps up-to-dated inventory of the division.
  • Coordinates the bulk purchase program material items of the division.
  • Handles program incomes of Community Support Services and to coordinate all petty cash claims of all units.
  • Organizes and maintains filing systems, policies and procedures, and Resource Library of the division. Orders and maintains inventory of office supplies for the Division, ensures regular maintenance of office equipment, coordinates repairs as necessary, checks and verifies invoices.
  • Provides support for all departments of CPS to coordinate meetings and taking minutes.
  • Maintains up-to-dated staff training records.
  • Coordinates the deployment of causal staff of Community Support Services Department.
  • Supports entry of HSM data for CPS departments.
  • Provides support and back-filling function for Executive Secretary and / or other administrative assistants as required.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in administration, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years administrative or marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated initiative in handling and resolving client questions and requests, using sound judgment and solid problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with social media and marketing tools is an asset. Knowledge of Chinese word processing an asset.
  • Resilient, flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across sites and with diverse teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Chinese.
  • Satisfactory recent Vulnerable Sector Screen result
