The Distribution Technician will support the Engineering and Technical Services team, collecting field data and photographs of electrical distribution poles and associated equipment, ensuring accurate and timely information is delivered to the design team. This position is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct field surveys of electrical distribution poles and related infrastructure across Ontario.
  • Collect and document detailed data on pole locations, equipment, and environmental conditions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timely submission to the design team.
  • Collaborate closely with the design team to clarify field data and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Respond to design team inquiries regarding field conditions and survey findings.
  • Maintain organized records of field data and survey activities.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company standards during all field operations.
  • Operate GPS, data collection tools, and other survey equipment effectively.
  • Travel extensively to various field sites across Ontario on a full-time basis.

  • Ability to work independently in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
