Qualifications

  • Education/Certification/Training preferred: IICRC Certifications are considered an asset.
  • 1 year of experience in cleaning services, restoration services and/or construction preferred.
  • Full Class 5 Alberta Driver's License (no GDL) with a good driving record.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Disaster Restoration Technician will enter homes and businesses after disasters like floods and fires to perform restoration. We train successful candidates, no experience necessary.

General Duties
  • Helping homeowners and businesses after disaster strikes (flood, fire, mould, asbestos, wind, and more).
  • Demolishing, cleaning, and drying out affected areas.
  • Cleaning, listing and/or disposing of contents.
  • Monitoring clients' sites and ensuring complete follow‑up.
Educational Requirements

Education/Certification/Training preferred: IICRC Certifications are considered an asset

Work Experience Requirements
  • No experience necessary!
  • Job‑related experience preferred: 1 year of experience in cleaning services, restoration services and/or construction.
  • Driving (with a good record): 3 year (preferred), full Class 5 Alberta Driver's License (no GDL)

Physical Requirements

This position requires a high level of physical exertion. Moderate intensity of sensory effort is required.

Working Conditions

This position will be required to work in adverse working conditions such as flooded basements, buildings after fires, and so on.
