Role

We’re looking for a Director of Strategic Finance to lead our financial planning, forecasting, and decision support function. Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll play a key role in scaling our finance capabilities, partnering cross-functionally, and driving alignment around the company’s most important strategic and financial decisions.

You’ll oversee a high-performing team and work closely with leaders in Sales, Marketing, Support, and Product to connect financial insight to business action. This is a critical leadership role at the intersection of financial strategy, operational planning, and performance management.

• Own and evolve the company’s financial model, including long-range planning, budgeting, and scenario analysis
• Drive monthly forecasting and budget variance reviews, delivering insights that inform executive and board-level decisions
• Lead investor reporting and board meeting prep, ensuring clarity and consistency in how we communicate financial performance
• Partner with go-to-market and product leaders to align spend, roadmap, and performance metrics with company goals
• Establish strong business finance practices, enabling scalable financial visibility and decision support across the org
• Develop and coach a team of 3 finance professionals, fostering high standards and cross-functional collaboration
• Support CFO in capital strategy, fundraising diligence, and M&A analysis as needed

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, investment banking, or related fields
• A natural curiosity about how AI can enhance decision-making and productivity. Current AI fluency is a plus.
• Proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams
• Demonstrated ability to drive clarity and alignment across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, revenue forecasting, and unit economics
• Exceptional analytical, modeling, and communication skills—you can turn complexity into clear insight
• Collaborative and action-oriented mindset: You move fast, think critically, and lead with influence
• Located in Toronto, with the ability to work in-office Tuesdays and Wednesdays
