A leading educational institution in Canada is seeking a Director for Pharmacy Experiential Learning to provide visionary leadership for the PharmD program. Primary Purpose: The Director of Pharmacy Experiential Learning (EL) will provide visionary leadership for the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) experiential learning program. This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives, fostering innovation, and ensuring alignment with the College’s mission and long‑term goals. The Director will lead a high‑performing team, cultivate strong internal and external partnerships, and champion excellence in experiential learning to prepare graduates with strong professional identities who deliver safe and effective care and contribute meaningfully to the health of patients and communities.
Nature of Work: As a leader within the College, the Director operates with significant autonomy and accountability, influencing policy, strategy, and program development. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic foresight, and the ability to effectuate collaboration across diverse partners, including students, faculty, health and professional organizations. The Director will navigate complex challenges, manage competing priorities, and advance initiatives that enhance the quality and impact of experiential learning.
