Job description
Director, Operations, CAD Digital (Canada’s First Regulated Stablecoin)
Who We Are

Tetra Digital Group is at the forefront of Canada’s digital finance evolution, building secure, compliant infrastructure that’s paving the way for institutional adoption of digital assets. Backed by $10 million from leading players like ATB Financial, National Bank, Shopify, and Wealthsimple, we’re launching CAD Digital (CADD), Canada’s first fully regulated stablecoin issued by a financial institution. Founded in 2019, we combine the rock-solid stability of a regulated trust company with the speed and innovation of a high-growth startup. We’re not just custodians; we’re creating the foundation for a multi-billion-dollar digital economy in Canada.

Who You Are

You're an experienced operations leader with a proven ability to manage and integrate multiple business lines simultaneously. You excel at building operational frameworks that balance the precision required in regulated environments with the agility needed in fast-growing organizations. You understand how to create clarity, design scalable processes, and embed operational discipline across diverse functions. You thrive in collaborative leadership environments and will work in close partnership with another operations leader to ensure seamless coordination across the organization.

You're an experienced financial services operations leader with substantial experience in areas such as custody, payments, or fintech infrastructure. You know what excellence looks like: seamless workflows, strong controls, attention to detail, and the ability to scale sustainably. You're comfortable leading operations across different product lines, from regulated trust services to innovative stablecoin infrastructure to SaaS platforms, and can translate strategic objectives into operational results.

You're both a builder and a leader. You know how to develop talent, create effective processes, and foster operational excellence. You create structure from complexity and ensure different operational functions work together as an integrated whole.

If you're ready to take on significant operational responsibility across Tetra's growing portfolio of businesses and help us execute at the highest level, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

Scale Stablecoin Operations

  • Build operational infrastructure for Canada's commercial stablecoin, including minting, redemption, settlement, and reserve management workflows. Establish controls, monitoring systems, and reconciliation processes while coordinating with Treasury, Compliance, and Technology to ensure regulatory readiness.
  • Manage client operations, onboarding, support, and service delivery. Partner with Product and Technology to operationalize new features and monitor performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Drive Corporate Operations & Process Excellence

  • Lead internal operations including facilities, vendor management, and procurement.
  • Develop operational playbooks, SOPs, and dashboards while identifying automation and efficiency opportunities. Ensure operational readiness for audits and regulatory reviews.

Enable Cross-Functional Success

  • Partner with Compliance, Client Success, Finance, Technology, and Product teams to align priorities and solve complex operational challenges.
What We're Looking For
