About the Role

As Director of Care, you’ll:

  • Lead and support a skilled nursing team in delivering high-quality, personalized care
  • Ensure compliance with Ontario’s long-term care legislation and professional standards
  • Drive continuous quality improvement through leadership, education, and innovation
  • Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Manage budgets, staffing, and department operations with care and efficiency
What We’re Looking For
  • Registered Nurse in good standing (CNO or equivalent)
  • Minimum 1 year as an RN in long-term care + 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven ability to lead with compassion, integrity, and collaboration
  • Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and resident rights
  • Familiarity with RAI-MDS (AIS certification required within 1 year)
