As the Director of Care, you’ll be responsible for the planning, coordination, supervision, and evaluation of all clinical resources, services, and programs at our Inglewood Care Community in West Vancouver.

About The Role

As Director of Care, you will lead a compassionate and skilled clinical team to provide high-quality, person-centred care that promotes resident autonomy, dignity, and wellness. Your leadership will shape care delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, and inspire a culture of collaboration and excellence across the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day coordination and development of all clinical programs aligned with our person-centred Wellness Model.
  • Provide leadership in resident care planning, service delivery, and performance evaluation of clinical services.
  • Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary teams on strategic initiatives, quality improvement, and accreditation.
  • Ensure adherence to professional, legal, and organizational standards of nursing practice.
  • Mentor and support team members through recruitment, training, performance management, and ongoing development.
  • Foster strong partnerships with families, health authorities, contracted service providers, and community stakeholders.
  • Participate in organizational planning, risk management, and budget development for resident care services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting systems to ensure effective communication and accountability.
  • Serve as a key resource in emergency preparedness, safety protocols, and health & safety compliance
Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized school of nursing
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Current RN registration in good standing with BCCNM
  • Coursework in Leadership and Management
  • Minimum two years’ nursing experience in gerontology
  • At least five years’ experience in health care management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, featuring an annual salary range between $105,000 and $130,000. Your comprehensive benefits include employer-paid extended health and dental coverage, along with a generous four weeks of vacation.
