Qualifications

Job description

Join our team as a Director, People Technology & Analytics! In this strategic and operational leader role, you'll be responsible for driving the evolution of our HR technology ecosystem and delivering actionable people insights. This role blends system governance, systems ownership, and people analytics to support business growth, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making.

We are ideally seeking a candidate located in Calgary, AB, our home office.

What Will You Be Doing?

  1. Leading the HR technology strategy and roadmap aligned to business growth and scalability, translating technical requirements into business outcomes
  2. Driving system governance, data standards, and prioritization frameworks, leading new systems implementation
  3. Collaborating with IT, Finance, and HR to ensure compliance, scalability, and user experience

Overseeing HRIS technology platforms (e.g., UKG, Phenom, Achievers) and modules including Core HR, Payroll, Time, Benefits, and Talent

Defining the roadmap and plan for system improvements by collaborating with stakeholders to deliver enhancements and training

Evaluating and implementing system enhancements, integrations, and automation

Managing vendor relationships, contracts, and service performance

Aggregating and analyzing people data to identify trends and opportunities

Identifying and addressing data gaps in collaboration with stakeholders

Ensuring data integrity, access control, and compliance with standards (e.g., ISO)

Leading system testing, upgrades, and support for HRIS users, designing dashboards and reporting

Acting as SME and supporting the development of training for HRIS, payroll, and benefits teams

Supporting the integration of acquired organizations into HR systems, including due diligence, onboarding, and data harmonization

Leading a high-performing HR technology team, managing cross-functional projects, and fostering collaboration

As The Successful Candidate You Have:

  1. 10+ years of progressive HR technology and analytics experience
  2. 5+ years in a leadership capacity
  3. Experience with enterprise HRIS platforms (e.g., UKG, Workday, Oracle)
  4. Strong understanding of HR processes, data, and compliance
  5. Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  6. Experience in M&A integration and system harmonization is beneficial
  7. Certifications such as HRIP, PMP, or system-specific credentials are assets
