The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Digital Services & Advisory, Buildings, this position will be responsible for managing or coordinating the production and delivery of BIM projects, as well as the development, enforcement, and training of company Digital/BIM standards.

WSP's Buildings team engages in the design of transportation, healthcare, educational, commercial, residential, recreational and light industrial facilities, with a specialization in large and complex projects, sustainable developments, and projects utilizing Alternate Delivery methods including Public-Private Partnerships (P3).

What you can expect to do here:

• Work with others on the Digital Solutions Team, assisting in the development and maintenance of company BIM standards, including but not limited to:
• Data Management and Digital Twin strategies
• Model and Graphic Standards
• Drawing Presentation and Model Quality
• BIM Execution Plan, LOD, and other BIM related documents
• Model Health and Coordination
• Act in a Digital Advisory capacity to assist project BIM teams in all design stages, from Schematic Design through to Construction, and into Facilities Management, as required.
• Ensure projects have a defined BIM Execution Plan and champion fulfillment of the plan throughout the project’s lifecycle; coordinate contents of the BIM Execution Plan with contractors and the client, as required.
• Work with project teams to coordinate model set up, drawing packages, model coordination, and any other project requirements
• Set up, maintain, support, and troubleshoot projects and WSP hosted ACC project sites.
• Perform model checks; ensure general and project specific digital processes and workflows are communicated to the design team members, and that those processes and workflows are adhered to throughout the project life cycle.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and other personnel to incorporate concepts and data into model and drawing packages; actively promote the usage of automation on BIM projects.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

• 10 years of experience in BIM / Digital project delivery and coordination within the AECO industry, including Construction Administration.
• Technical College Diploma or University degree in Structural / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Architectural considered an asset.
• Experience in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (including ACC Build) is required.
• Experience in the Microsoft suite of tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams) is a must; PowerBi is an asset.
• Familiarity in Dynamo, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, Inventor, Point Clouds and Reality Capture
• Knowledge of the interoperability between Revit and other discipline-specific software programs and tools.
• Project set-up experience including the CDE, design models, and the preparation of construction documents in Revit while ensuring company BIM standards are adhered to.
• Experience in 3D design and multi-discipline coordination, managing models and facilitating data exchanges.
