OVERVIEW

This role focuses on executing digital marketing and acquisition campaigns for insurance products. The manager supports campaign planning, creative development, media execution, analytics, and optimization across multiple digital channels. The position requires a data‑driven marketer who can blend strategy, creativity, and performance analysis to deliver measurable business results.

Title: Digital Marketing Manager

Type: Contract (12 months, with possible extension or conversion)

Schedule: Full‑time, hybrid (3–4 days in office weekly)

Location: Toronto, Ontario – downtown financial district

Hourly Rate: Up to $30/hour T4

RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Strategy & Planning (30%)
  • Contribute to the annual marketing roadmap and tactical plan aligned with business goals.
  • Develop and support campaigns for new product launches and ongoing sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure cohesive messaging and creative consistency.
  • Analyze progress against marketing plans and adjust tactics as needed.
Project Management & Execution (40%)
  • Lead end‑to‑end campaign execution: budgeting, targeting, messaging, creative asset development, and approvals.
  • Manage digital campaigns across paid search, social, and display channels.
  • Track and optimize performance, generating insights and recommendations.
  • Coordinate internal/external partners and ensure deliverables meet brand and compliance standards.
Relationship Management (20%)
  • Build strong relationships with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and agencies.
  • Represent the digital marketing perspective in strategic discussions.
Risk Management & Compliance (10%)
  • Ensure all marketing materials adhere to legal, privacy, and brand standards.
  • Track and report marketing spend accurately.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3–5+ years in marketing, with at least 2 years in digital acquisition or media planning.
  • Hands‑on experience with digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe DMP, and media mix modeling tools.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Marketing Platform, Meta, LinkedIn, and similar channels.
  • Experience managing agencies or working within one preferred.
  • Insurance or financial services marketing experience a plus.
Technical & Analytical Skills
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with experience monitoring KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
Soft Skills
  • Proactive, collaborative, and detail‑oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organization and time management skills; able to juggle multiple projects.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving and relationship‑management abilities.
Education
  • Post‑secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
