Job summary

A global entertainment leader in Ontario seeks a developer to enhance software delivery pipelines and automate CI/CD processes. This role involves collaborating with engineering, QA, and platform teams, focusing on maintaining efficient systems and improving developer productivity. Candidates should hold a degree in computer science or a related field, possess strong programming skills, and have experience with CI/CD tools. The position offers a competitive salary range of $116,600 — $166,600 CAD and fosters an inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming principles.
  • Knowledge of fundamental data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with Git and GitHub for source control and workflow management.
  • Experience developing with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with modern web technologies and frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software build and release pipelines.
  • Automate provisioning using Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC).
  • Engage with engineering, QA, and operations teams.
  • Monitor and analyze system telemetry for improvements.
  • Produce clear and high-quality documentation.

Skills

Object-oriented programming
Git and GitHub
JavaScript and/or TypeScript
Container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Excellent communication skills

Education
