Within an Agile team, the successful candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of data collection and business process automation processes. The individual will also participate in the implementation of a web Hub for the management of Retirement Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current and future requirements : Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document the functional and technical requirements of the project.
• Review and understand existing code : Familiarize yourself with the architecture and code of the current solution to ensure effective integration and maintenance.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) : design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure proper functioning of the software solution : Perform rigorous tests and validate results to guarantee quality and performance.

Requirements

Background in computer science or software engineering.

Minimum 4 years of professional experience in software development.

Fluency in English and French, both written and oral.

Experience with C#, Microsoft .NET Core or .NET Framework, using Visual Studio.

Web application development with Angular (including AngularJS) or similar JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, etc.).

Deployment to different environments with tools like Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or Octopus Deploy.

Proficiency in HTML and CSS.

Nice to haves

Pipelines setup with Helm and YAML / YML.

Scripting knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

Knowledge of web service development, WebAPI, WCF.

Experience in ASP.NET development.

Knowledge of unit testing cycles (Cypress, Protractor, etc.).

Experience in an Agile development environment.

Knowledge of enterprise software architecture techniques and industry best practices.
