Deputy Nursery Manager – Farnham | Up to £35,000 per

Are you an experienced Early Years professional ready to take the next step in your career?

Our client, a well‑established nursery in Farnham, is looking for an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to support in leading a passionate team and providing outstanding early years education and care.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives in a supportive, child‑centred environment and is eager to make a real difference in children’s lives.

As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the Nursery Manager with both day‑to‑day operations and long‑term planning. You will help lead, inspire and mentor a team of practitioners, ensuring the nursery consistently delivers high‑quality childcare in line with EYFS and Ofsted standards.

This position offers an excellent balance between hands‑on involvement with children and nursery management.

What We’re Looking For
  • Level 3 Early Years 9 (or above)
  • Proven experience in a senior or managerial role within a nursery setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with parent tours, enrolments, and building positive family relationships.
  • Managing staff rosters, training, and performance development.
  • Contributing to budget management and nursery administration.
  • Acting as a role model and mentor, guiding colleagues to deliver best practice.
