This Delivery Manager will be working on business logic analysis for an upcoming Mainframe Modernization project at the Client end. Please look for candidates having Mainframe Modernization project experience. They should have Mainframe business logic analysis experience.

Description

The Delivery Manager oversees the technical personnel on various system projects and/or programs of a highly complex nature. The Delivery Manager work assignments are often complex and require critical problem solving.

The Delivery Manager manages a project team, ensures that deliverable timetables are met, and manages activities, risks, and issues across all facets of a project. Often actively manages internal and external stakeholder partnerships. Deeply familiar with the system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. When managing programs, oversees the interdependencies and integration of interrelated projects, and sets strategies and program execution to deliver longer term business value. Can possess specialized knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks used to manage risks and issues unique to technology projects. Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards. Makes decisions regarding team work approach/priorities, and sets direction. Work is independent and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with interpretation.
