Job summary

A leading technology firm in Toronto is looking for an experienced ETL Developer with a strong focus on IBM InfoSphere/DataStage and SQL skills. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in development roles, excellent communication abilities, and strong analytical skills. Banking experience is a plus and adds value to the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IBM InfoSphere/DataStage ETL.
• Strong SQL skills, with DB2 preferred.
• Experience in Unix shell scripting.

Job Description

• Minimum 8 years of experience in design and development on IBM InfoSphere/DataStage ETL suit, preferred Infosphere 8.1 later
• Strong knowledge of development methodology and requirements to plan and implement programs and systems into production
• Strong SQL skills with any RDBMS, DB2 preferred
• Experience in Unix shell scripting and creating cron jobs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Banking experience is a plus
