How you will make a difference:

The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for supporting the system management of Windows/SQL, AWS, and Ecommerce platforms. This job is responsible for system maintenance, data integrity, and configuration of SQL servers and cloud platforms. The primary focus for this role is supporting e-commerce systems and other systems interfacing with the e-commerce platforms. The position may also be assigned to work on non-ecomm platforms to assist the other DBAs.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Support and manage the installation, configuration, monitoring, and improving performance of database framework.
  2. Provide technical assistance to developers, business analysts, and technical support team in troubleshooting application issues and completing users’ requests.
  3. Assist in the system and database management of E-commerce platforms, including:
    1. Management of Shopify eCommerce integrations and other technical related tasks.
    2. MySQL DB management, including reporting function.
    3. Maintenance of API setups and configurations.
    4. Integrations to Shopify and other applications related to E-comm systems.
  4. Document support interactions and provide recommendations for improvement of the processes.
  5. Support other related duties.

What You’ll Need:

  1. BA or BS Degree in Computer Science or related field such as Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent experience.
  2. 8+ years DBA experience on SQL Server platforms.
  3. Knowledge of MySql scripting and Web Api tools.
  4. Experience with Shopify and understanding of integrations related to E-comm.
  5. Experience in AWS platform.
  6. Knowledge of retail systems is a plus.
