About The Role

The Senior Data Scientist at Product Madness plays a pivotal role in leveraging advanced statistical and analytical techniques to solve complex business challenges. This position involves interpreting high-volume, high-dimensional data from diverse sources to generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical rigor, proficiency in data manipulation, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They will collaborate closely with data engineering, application engineering, and business intelligence teams to develop telemetry requirements, validate implementations, and contribute to data science and big data projects. The Senior Data Scientist will also analyze A / B test results, craft sophisticated data visualizations, and translate business problems into analytical solutions, driving innovation and efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or related fields, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in data science, preferably within the gaming or social casino industry
  • Proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis and visualization
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and develop transparent, well-structured solutions
  • Self-motivated with a track record of driving initiatives independently
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with business and technical teams
Responsibilities
  • Utilize inferential and descriptive statistics to interpret data and answer key business questions
  • Apply advanced data transformations to cleanse and prepare datasets for analysis
  • Collaborate with data engineering and application teams to define telemetry requirements and validate data collection processes
  • Create compelling visualizations to present insights clearly to diverse audiences
  • Translate complex business problems into analytical requirements and tasks
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and scripts for source system data analysis
  • Analyze A / B testing outcomes for new features and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders
  • Partner with BI and data teams to implement data science projects and integrate big data solutions
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest innovative solutions to enhance analytical workflows
