The Opportunity:

As a Data Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in transforming business data into actionable insights by:

  • Analyzing and interpreting data from multiple repositories to understand business performance and needs.
  • Developing reports, dashboards, and analytics that provide clear insights for operations and decision-makers.
  • Presenting complex data in simple, easy-to-understand terms that drive informed decisions.
  • Collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business objectives.
  • Supporting continuous improvement by identifying trends, opportunities, and innovative approaches to data use.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collect, organize, and analyze data to extract insights and develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support the actuarial function to facilitate informed decision-making across various business functions.
  • Conduct peer reviews of colleagues’ work in a safe and professional environment.
  • Document data sources, methodologies, processes, and analytical findings clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate on meeting presentations and materials as required.
  • Work closely with leadership teams to create data strategies that support data modeling.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum of three years direct experience with data analysis.
  • Programming experience in SQL, Python or R.
  • Ability to use SQL queries to obtain data required for analysis from the company’s systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills with advanced knowledge of the full MS Office Suite.
  • Consistency of applying accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail approaches.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Effectively prioritize assignments and handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to train and mentor team members.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or in a related field.

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role and level. The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
