Overview

Customer Service Associate role at Bureau Veritas North America

Location : Edmonton, Alberta

Job Overview and Responsibilities : Primary point of contact between Bureau Veritas and the assigned client base. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer support on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strong client relationships by providing service excellence to all customers
  • Act as the key liaison between the clients, laboratory and Bureau Veritas management to ensure overall satisfaction which is critical for the development of a loyal client base
  • Respond to all client communications (telephone or email) and redirect communications to appropriate Bureau Veritas contact as required
  • Provide clients with technical support on their varied sampling projects
  • Document and ensure closure to all client complaints including providing feedback to internal management
  • Stay current with all quality assurance processes
  • Coordinate reports, data, billings and client requests
  • Engage in cross-training / career pathing to support overall success of the Customer Service Team
Qualifications / Ideal Background
  • Post-Secondary Certificate, Diploma or Degree in related field
  • 2-4 years experience in applicable industry; minimum 1 year in client facing position
  • Knowledge in Sciences - preferably chemistry is considered an asset. Equivalent experience will be considered
  • Positive outlook with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with lab operations, Business Development Managers and Customer Service team members
  • Good time-management, communication, multi-tasking and priority setting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Organized, detail-oriented and focused
  • Represents the Bureau Veritas values and is professional at all times
