Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Junior Underwriter to support our funding operations by reviewing, analyzing, and approving deals within the alternative lending sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in credit risk analysis, underwriting, and fraud detection—balancing deal flow with sound financial judgment and regulatory awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct credit and risk analysis on loan submissions.
  • Evaluate financial documentation including bank statements, credit reports, business histories, and supporting materials.
  • Identify and flag potential fraud indicators or inconsistencies in merchant or borrower data.
  • Utilize data analytics to support risk-based decision-making.
  • Communicate with sales partners and internal stakeholders to clarify and optimize submissions.
  • Maintain consistent underwriting standards in conjunction with credit policies and risk procedures.
  • Collaborate with funding and compliance teams to ensure all funded deals meet regulatory and internal quality standards.
