Role Overview

We are a fast-growing Online Dispensary seeking a Creative Designer who can develop visually compelling, compliant, and high-performing creatives for digital advertising and e-commerce marketing. This industry requires a careful balance of creativity, education, and regulatory awareness, and we need someone who can communicate product value clearly while staying aligned with platform policies.

You will work closely with our performance marketing team to produce scroll-stopping visuals optimized for Meta, TikTok (when allowed), Google Display, and other paid platforms, as well as our own online storefront and promotional channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop creative concepts, visual angles, and storytelling themes tailored to an online dispensary audience—covering flower, vapes, concentrates, accessories, and wellness products.
  • Create high-CTR static/image ads optimized for Meta, TikTok (where permitted), Google Display, and other paid media placements.
  • Turn product benefits—such as effects, potency, strain profiles, flavor notes, wellness value, or lifestyle appeal—into clear, compelling visuals that communicate value within seconds.
  • Collaborate closely with performance marketers to review campaign data, identify winning creatives, and refine design direction based on insights.
  • Build structured creative testing frameworks: thumbnail variations, design iterations, messaging swaps, and A/B experiment sets.
  • Ensure brand consistency across multiple product categories and promotional campaigns, maintaining a cohesive look and feel across the online dispensary.
  • Produce clean, platform-ready exports in a variety of aspect ratios (1080×1080, 1200×628, 1080×1920, and more).
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor creatives, customer behavior, and evolving advertising guidelines for online dispensaries to ensure creatives remain effective and compliant.
  • Maintain awareness of online dispensary advertising regulations, messaging restrictions, DISCLAIMERS, and audience requirements across platforms.
  • Proven experience designing creatives for an online dispensary e-commerce, wellness e-commerce, or other regulated industries (preferred).
  • Strong portfolio highlighting direct-response ads, high-CTR graphics, and brand-consistent designs.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar professional design tools.
  • Understanding of online dispensary marketing nuances (strains, categories, effects, compliance language, product education, lifestyle positioning).
  • Ability to iterate quickly based on performance data (CTR, CPM, ROAS, engagement metrics).
  • Strong command of graphic fundamentals: typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, composition, and rapid creative testing.
  • Ability to handle multiple product lines and high-volume creative requests in a fast-paced environment.
