Job summary

The ideal candidate must demonstrate good coordination and the ability to adapt to seasonal conditions while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety procedures. Qualifications

  • Must be able to stand throughout the entire shift.
  • Normal plant work with seasonal exposure to hot and cold.

  • Schedule from 8am to 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)

Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Nanaimo, as the CR Sorter:

  • Responsible for safe and efficient sorting, grading, and placement of recycled materials in their appropriate areas according to the specified requirements and production standards
  • Comply with all company policies and safety procedures
  • Complete all daily housekeeping duties as directed by the Supervisors
  • Perform other duties as laid out by the Lead Sorter and/or Supervisors, such as yard/plant cleanup and office paper sorting
  • Adapt to an always-changing and growing industry
  • Grading and sorting of bulk loads of loose materials
