Overview

As a Counter Inside Sales, you will be managing the rental and sale of Aerial and Industrial equipment. You will be responsible for developing new business as well as up-selling and cross-selling within the existing customer base. The position includes a salary of $55,000 - $70,000.

Our client is a growing aerial and industrial equipment rental company, serving the Golden Horseshoe region out of Hamilton, ON. The company is in a stage of growth, growing ~20% yearly and specializes in the rental and sale of Aerial and Industrial equipment. As the only independent equipment rental business in the Niagara area, they also offer rental equipment in the maintenance, automotive, welding and electrical contractor industries. The company boasts a team atmosphere where employees are encouraged to collaborate in order to deliver the first-class customer service that sets them apart from competitors.

THE LOCATION
  • Office – Hamilton, ON
  • This is a work-from-office / inside counter sales role
THE PRODUCT / SERVICE
  • Aerial & Industrial Equipment Rental
  • Aerial & Industrial Equipment Sales (New & Used)
  • Full-line Industrial Sales (Ladders, Abrasives, Safety Supplies, Cutting Tools etc.)
PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS

You will be selling to Electrical Contractors, HVAC Contractors, Multi-trade Contractors, General Contractors, Industrial Contractors, and Industrial Plants.

SALES CYCLE & PRODUCT VALUE
  • The average order value is $500 - $10,000
  • The average sales cycle is 1 – 7 days
TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES
  • 50% Account Management
  • 25% Prospecting – leads supplied
  • 25% Customer Service / Support
TERRITORY & OVERNIGHT TRAVEL
  • No Overnight Travel
