Job description

We are currently seeking Corporate Paralegals to join our legal support team and provide support to our Fortune 500 clients. This role may require to work an on-site schedule in the Greater Toronto area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain corporate records, board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and minute books to ensure compliance with federal and provincial regulations.
  • File incorporation documents, corporate registrations, and amendments with federal and provincial authorities.
  • Assist with mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and other corporate transactions, including due diligence and document preparation.
  • Monitor and ensure timely filing of annual returns, corporate updates, and statutory documents with government agencies.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience of corporate or commercial law in Canada, corporate or commercial law experience, preferably in-house, with strong knowledge of corporate governance, incorporations, and statutory filings.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
