Job description
Corporate Development Associate

Litco LSO is building the first North American legal platform with the scale and discipline to reshape how law firms grow, compete, and create long‑term value. Every acquisition strengthens the platform and accelerates our mission to build the most valuable legal services organization in the world.

Our Values
  • Make it count - Swing for the fences.
  • Radical Transparency – Be proud of who we are.
  • Lombardi, not Heisman – Play for the team, not the trophy.
  • Fight like family – Have productive conflict but remain united.
  • Be like water – Find a way.
The Opportunity

We are looking for a Corporate Development Associate who thrives in fast‑moving deal environments and brings strong organizational rigor to a growing M&A engine. You will manage the pipeline, maintain momentum, and ensure every deal advances with clarity, accuracy, and discipline. This role is ideal for someone with strong transaction experience who wants meaningful ownership inside a high‑performance operating company.

What You’ll Do
Pipeline Ownership:
  • Maintain a clean, accurate, and up‑to‑date M&A pipeline across all stages.
  • Track status, next steps, outstanding items, and stakeholder accountability.
  • Ensure leadership always has an accurate view of where each deal stands.
Drive Deals to Close:
  • Support and coordinate the LOI‑to‑close process with urgency and discipline.
  • Keep deliverables, timelines, diligence requests, and communications on track.
  • Proactively identify missing pieces and resolve bottlenecks before they escape.
  • Maintain tight documentation, version control, and progress tracking.
Cross‑Functional Coordination:
  • Facilitate information flow across Finance, Legal, Operations, HR, and Technology.
  • Ensure each team knows what they owe and when.
  • Follow up relentlessly until tasks are complete, and nothing drops through the cracks.
Deal Support & Documentation:
  • Assist with diligence materials, data gathering, and structured organization of documents.
  • Prepare concise summaries, status updates, and internal briefings.
  • Support early‑stage financial prep and valuation work as needed.
Leadership & Meeting Coordination
  • Support senior leaders by preparing agendas, tracking follow‑ups, organizing deal‑related materials, and ensuring meetings run efficiently.
  • Help maintain order, documentation, and structured communication across priorities without functioning as an executive assistant.
Who You Are
  • Highly organized operator with strong execution discipline.
  • Able to manage multiple moving pieces without losing accuracy or momentum.
  • Clear, concise communicator who brings order to complexity.
  • Comfortable working independently while supporting a fast‑moving senior team.
  • Analytical, detail‑driven, and reliable under pressure.
Why Join Litco LSO

You’ll join a lean, high‑performing team deeply involved in active acquisitions across North America. You will have real ownership, direct exposure to senior leadership, and a meaningful role in shaping the growth engine of a rapidly scaling platform.
