We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Coordinator, Team Services reporting to the Director, Basketball Operations to join our team.

Job Summary

The Coordinator, Team Services plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day basketball operations of the Toronto Tempo. This position ensures seamless coordination across departments, facilities, vendors and partners. The Coordinator, Team Services will help to ensure the day-to-day team logistics are executed in a professional, efficient and financially responsible manner at all times. This role will play a key role in facilitating player, coach, and basketball staff logistics as they transition to the Tempo team and market. The Coordinator, Team Services will contribute to the overall efficiency and professionalism of the team environment with an emphasis on quality of care.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Team Operations & Logistics

  • Assist with the coordination of player, coach, and basketball staff travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation.
  • Collaborate with Director, Basketball Operations and travel agencies to coordinate individual travel logistics by utilizing travel and expense software (Concur, Teamworks).

Player, Coach, and Staff Support

  • Liaison between the business and the basketball operations side of the Tempo to manage all logistics for player, coach, and basketball staff appearances and community events across Canada ensuring alignment with team and league compliance (CBA/Operations Manual).
  • Assist with player, coach and basketball staff “in market” needs including but not limited to, onboarding, family transition, immigration, and professional development.
  • Support Director, Basketball Operations with Canadian immigration process.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field considered an asset but not required.
  • 2+ years of experience in team operations/logistics, sports administration, or event coordination.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and team travel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
  • Experience working in professional sports or collegiate athletics preferred.
  • Must have a valid passport to travel within Canada and globally.
