Who We Are

Tourism Richmond is the heartbeat of Richmond, BC’s visitor economy — a bold, collaborative force showcasing everything that makes our city an unforgettable place to live, work, and explore. As a non-profit destination marketing organization, we work with local businesses, tourism leaders, and the City to promote Richmond as a must-visit part of Metro Vancouver.

Guided by our EPIC values — Excellence, Passion, Integrity, and Collaboration — we’re not just promoting tourism; we’re shaping its future. From achieving Carbon Neutral and Rainbow Registered status to launching regenerative tourism grants, and with a world-class destination brand underpinning it all, we’re committed to creating meaningful, positive impact in our community and beyond. At Tourism Richmond, we believe tourism can be a powerful driver of change — and we’re here to lead the way.

About The Role

Step into an exciting role where your creativity and organizational skills make an impact every day. As the Coordinator, Marketing, you will help bring Richmond to life as a must-visit Metro Vancouver destination by supporting digital campaigns, brand initiatives, and tourism promotions. You will coordinate projects across social, digital, and traditional media, craft engaging content, and collaborate with agencies, partners, and stakeholders to deliver standout campaigns. From managing timelines and budgets to keeping brand assets up to date, your attention to detail will keep projects running smoothly. This is a great opportunity to grow your marketing expertise in a supportive, collaborative team while gaining hands-on experience in tourism, digital media, and brand management.

This is a full-time, permanent hybrid position that requires in-office work at least three times per week. The salary range is $50,000-$55,000 and includes a robust RRSP program and a comprehensive benefits package.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Support the Marketing Team in the development and implementation of campaigns and promotions.
  • Support the development, production, and distribution of on-brand digital and traditional creative assets, collateral, and content across a range of channels.
  • Manage project timelines to ensure deliverables and assets are delivered to partners and suppliers on time.
  • Support the execution of TR’s social media and content activities, including creating and scheduling content (e.g. videos, images, posts), monitoring engagement, and assisting with day-to-day channel management under the direction of the Manager, Marketing.
  • Draft, review and update TR collateral, such as guides, brochures, and itineraries. Coordinate the production and distribution of collateral as required.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and management of the Digital Asset Management system (DAMS).
  • Assist the marketing team with general budget and accounting-related duties, such as setting up POs, processing invoices and team expenses.
What You Will Bring
  • Post-secondary education in tourism, marketing, advertising, communications, business administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Coordinator role in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field is preferred. Digital experience is considered an asset.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing and platforms is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, including flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing business priorities.
  • Forward thinking, proactive, resourceful, and a positive, helpful attitude.
  • Basic graphic design skills is considered an asset (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).
