Qualifications

About the Opportunity
  • Oversee and manage all accounting and finance operational activities
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of the company's financial reporting in accordance with ASPE, including journal entry and balance sheet reconciliation review
  • Complete monthly consolidation processes
  • Analyze actual results compared to budget, forecast, and prior year
  • Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting efforts
  • Complete quarterly bank and parent company reporting
  • Manage audit and corporate tax filings
  • Complete US government reporting as required
  • Maintain, develop, and strengthen internal controls to mitigate financial and operational risks
  • Manage and develop staff to meet the objectives of the organization
  • Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights that drive business decisions and performance improvement
  • Lead or support software upgrades, integrations, and automation initiatives
  • Ensure data integrity across accounting and operational systems
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, tax, and reporting requirements across jurisdictions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, HR, and IT to align financial objectives with organizational goals
  • Additional duties as required
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA designation
  • 2 years’ experience in a Controller or Accounting Manager role
  • Experience in consolidations and intercompany transactions is an asset
  • Experience in internal controls is preferred
Salary Range

$125,000 - $140,000/year
