Our client is looking for a Contract Specialist (RFP, RFI, SCM) in Edmonton, AB

Must Have Primary Skills
  • 5+ years in supply chain management, commercial management, or equivalent experience
  • Post-secondary degree in business, technical, legal, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Education equivalency may be considered
  • Strong understanding of contract principles, structure, and language
Nice To Have Secondary Skills

Foster strong relationships with key support areas (e.g., legal, insurance, credit, HSE) and internal service groups.

Proven Experience In
  • Proficiency in contract law, understanding of electric power industry contracting practices, and working knowledge of engineering principles related to civil, mechanical, electrical, controls, and IT systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint) and PDF editing tools
  • Familiarity with risk management skills and tools
  • Oracle E-Business Suite, or similar ERP system knowledge
  • Demonstrate strong reading, writing, and listening skills, with the ability to produce clear written documents and edit others' work effectively
  • Hybrid Office/Work from home position, with possible very minimal travel to meet business users facilities or other offices.
