What you'll do:

This role involves the evaluation, development, negotiation, and drafting of third‑party contracts for the purchase of goods and services in line with business requirements and departmental budgets. The role involves collaborating with internal business partners and negotiating with suppliers, with an emphasis on preparing contractual agreements (such as, but not limited to, MSA, SOW, NDA, Transaction Agreements, Amendment letters, etc.).

  • Prepare contractual agreements using current company templates
  • Analyze contracts to ensure they comply with company policies
  • Liaising with internal business partners and external suppliers
  • Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing for the company
What we’re looking for: (must have)

6 months experience with contracting best practices, business decision‑making, in a Contract Specialist context with an increasing scope of responsibility.

Preferred skills/experience:
  • Applicable Contract Management, Procurement, Legal experience and/or certification
  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management tools (e.g., iValua, Coupa, Ariba, etc.)
  • Finance and budgeting experience
  • Experience in a financial institution
  • Familiarity and experience with Professional Services
  • Familiarity and experience with IT services
  • Post‑Secondary degree/certification in logistics, business administration, law, purchasing and supply chain management, or equivalent working experience
