Contract Administrator (Remote / hybrid) – Ontario Seaway Corridor Region

Architecture49 (A49) is seeking a Contract Administrator resident in the Seaway Corridor to join our team on a remote or hybrid basis. Locations - Kingston, Cornwall, Brockville, Prescott.

Seaway Corridor

Architecture49’s Seaway Corridor Region is an office with deep ties across eastern Ontario. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and travel to conduct site visits throughout the Seaway Corridor, attend site meetings, oversee site activities and provide quality control
  • Assisting with project progress and site reports
  • Assist with shop drawings, answering Contractor requests for information and issuing contract changes
  • Assist with quality control / constructability reviews on drawings and specifications
  • Collaborating and coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience with a focus on the construction phase of projects
  • Sound technical and building envelope knowledge, strong understanding of codes, and familiarity with Ontario construction practices
  • Recognized credentials from a construction contract administration course or other equivalent training considered an asset
  • Ability to effectively communicate and deliver services in French considered an asset
  • Preference given to candidates with knowledge of BIM principles & workflows; REVIT software; AutoCAD software; Microsoft 365 environment; and Bluebeam and Adobe Reader
