The Audit Technologies group is part of the support team for the National Audit Center. It is responsible for implementing new technologies within Audit and providing digital and data analysis services to our clients. The group works within a multidisciplinary team that offers exclusive solutions to KPMG and external data analysis services to our teams, and provides support.

The Data Advisor will participate in automating key operational processes using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate applications. They will also provide essential support to customer service teams for data analysis, visualization, and reporting, enabling us to deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Automate key operational processes using workflows in Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Identify issues and challenges, and propose recommendations, opportunities, and mitigation strategies to mission teams.
  • Work with unique data analysis programs to offer innovative solutions to our mission team.
  • Handle large volumes of client data to import into KPMG’s exclusive applications following the extract-transform-load process.
  • Build sustainable business relationships with client teams through missions and professional networking activities.
  • Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities and supporting proposal preparations.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with professionals without technical training.
  • Create and implement customized data analysis routines for clients.
Qualifications

Mandatory

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, database management, programming, or similar fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Deep understanding of statistics and mathematical fundamentals.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written); ability to work with multiple stakeholders, communicate priorities, and manage expectations.
  • Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills; proactive with new ideas and approaches.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading tools and features.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred

  • Experience with Azure Databricks data management and processing.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Power Query, Python, and R.
  • Experience with databases including SQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
  • Experience with SQL scripting, API creation, and debugging.

This position requires proficiency in both written and spoken English. The successful candidate may be called upon to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues and stakeholders, and to interpret and apply policies, practices, laws, and regulations as part of their duties.
