The Digital Merchandising team is responsible for driving eCommerce and brick-and-mortar sales by working collaboratively across the organization to execute a strong digital strategy that prioritizes the customer and drives results for the business.

What you’ll do:

  • Build, update, perform QA, and maintain content pages, landing pages, and promotional placements through authoring in AEM
  • Ensure digital merchandising aligns with merchandising priorities, seasonal strategies, and promotional calendars
  • Manage and optimize browse & discovery through filter optimizations, taxonomy monitoring, page redesigns, onsite search and navigation improvements
  • Identify Email merchandising opportunities, build briefs and collaborate with the Digital Delivery team to ensure audiences are optimized

Optimization & Analytics

  • Monitor site performance and customer behaviour using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Quantum Metrics, Looker Studio, etc.) to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Analyze customer search and browsing behavior, top search terms, and high-traffic areas to implement strategies that enhance the overall customer experience
  • Test and refine merchandising placements, content layouts, and navigation for optimal customer engagement
  • Extract sales data and reporting using tools such as ThoughtSpot and Microsoft Excel to analyze results of digital merchandising initiatives

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

  • Collaborate with UX, Marketing, Analytics, and Merchandising to ensure a seamless and best-in-class online customer experience
  • Provide feedback on UX and site functionality improvements based on data and customer feedback
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities for optimizing operational processes, enhancing efficiency, and improving overall productivity

Governance and quality assurance

  • Maintain brand and merchandising standards across the website experience
  • Conduct regular site audits to ensure content accuracy, image quality, and functional links
  • Follow established workflows and approval processes to ensure accuracy and timely delivery

What you bring:

  • 3+ years of digital merchandising, eCommerce content management, or site operations experience
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar CMS platforms
  • Strong analytical skills (analyzing, organizing, visualizing, and presenting data) with experience in tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar
  • Adaptable and flexible with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills and experience managing projects
  • Experience with Automotive, Home Tools, Seasonal & Gardening, Home Living, and eCommerce Strategy lines of business
  • Understanding of eCommerce best practices, UX principles, SEO fundamentals, Marketing and Digital Marketing principles
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
