About the Opportunity

We are looking to hireConstruction Minersto join our team at theBell Creek MineinPorcupine, ON.,andTimmins West MineinTimmins, ONon afull-time basis.

The schedule is 5-5-4, 10-hour shifts rotating days and nights each week.

In this position, you will be responsible for material handling to underground storages, build paste walls and install paste lines. You will be responsible for installation of shot crete walls, installations/maintenance of ventilation ducts and fans, installation/maintenance of all underground pumps and pumping systems, monitor and maintaining all pipe lines. Installations/maintenance of grizzlies, ore passes, bumper blocks, and timbered manways. Minor rehab projects.

Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based position.

More About You

While our ideal candidate has the following qualifications, we welcome applicants who may not meet every criterion to apply.

• Previous construction experience is required including candidates with surface-only experience.
• Ability to operate a jackleg and stopper would be an asset
• Drilling experience with a blockhole drill would be an asset
• Experience with concrete work, installation of timbers and specialized ground support, forming, vent doors, walls, refuge stations, and welding would be considered an asset
• Basic UG Hard Rock Common Core and U0085B, U0063 modules are an asset
• Practice good housekeeping
• Be committed to safety
