Business Information: Cal & Mel Renovations offers all types of home renovations: landscaping (sod, artificial turf), installing rubber on driveways and walkways, installing brick work or patio stones, building decks and sunrooms. We offer full kitchen and bathroom renovations, as well as tiling, drywalling, roofing (shingles and metal), painting, flooring, installing doors and windows, skid steer services, dig trenches or water lines, install culverts, install fencing (chain-link, wood or vinyl), level and compact cold mix asphalt, among others.

Job Description

• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades
• Mix, pour and spread materials
• Level earth to fine grade specifications
• Pave and rake asphalt
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements
• Clean trailer and equipment after each job
• Operate various power tools, compactors, and rototillers
• Pour cold mix asphalt and concrete
• Prepare materials and job site
• Assist with landscaping, laying sod, aggregates, and topsoil
• Place pylons and caution/danger tapes where necessary on job site
• Assist heavy equipment operators

Requirements

Education: Not required.

Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.

Important information: Flexibility on schedule is required. The regular schedule will be from Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Work on Saturdays and overtime may be required depending on the business’ needs. We guarantee 37.5 hours of work during winter
