Overview

Position: 1 Computer Network Technician ($36.00 Per Hour) Permanent, Full Time (30-40 Hours per week) required immediately for Millomat Stampings Inc.

Work Location: 190 SUPERIOR BLVD, MISSISSAUGA, ON, L5T 2L2

Qualifications
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years

Skills and Responsibilities
  • Operating all computer and auxiliary equipment.
  • Installing, replacing, and adjusting the belts, ribbons, filters and other objects to maintain equipment.
  • Observe the operation of computer and auxiliary equipment.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, connections to the internet and peripheral equipment.
  • Responsible for preparation of equipment for operation.
  • Responsible for operating system consol under the under the instruction of a lead computer.
  • Responsible for unloading and separating output of printer in preparation for distribution.
  • Monitors and schedules batch processing subsystems and initiate backup processes.
  • Determine hardware/software problems and troubleshoot connectivity problems.
  • Responsible for implementing network traffic and security monitoring software.
  • Responsible to optimize server performance.
  • Responsible for the evaluation and recommendation of the new hardware and software.
  • Assist team in resolution of hardware, software and system issues.
  • Responsible for web services administration.
  • Conduct test and responsible for security and quality control.
