Job summary

A reproductive health facility in Peel Region, Mississauga is seeking a healthcare professional for a 12-month fixed-term contract focusing on coordinating patient care in various fertility programs. Responsibilities include assisting physicians, providing patient education, and emotional support. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong decision-making skills, work independently, and be committed to patient-centered care in an inclusive environment. Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates critical thinking and decision making.
  • Works independently and effectively in a team.
  • 3-5 years medical/surgical experience preferred.
  • Commitment to patient centred care.
  • Previous in-vitro fertilization clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate care for patients in IVF programs.
  • Assist physicians in procedures and exams.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients.
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities.
