Responsibilities

What You Bring
- Community Support Certificate (or equivalent)
- At least one year of related experience or a combination of education and training
- A combination of relevant education training and hands-on experience.

Other Musts
- Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License and safe driving record
- Own vehicle with business use and $5M third-party liability insurance (premium reimbursement provided)
- Willingness and physical ability to support individuals with personal care and recreational activities indoors and outdoors
- Completion of required training (provided at no cost); existing certifications are an asset : CPR-C Mandt-R SafeTALK Safe Food Handling Medication Management CLBC Privacy Anti-Bullying & Harassment
- Consent to Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector search (cost reimbursed upon hire)
- Union membership (1.85% dues deducted from pay)

STATUS : Part-Time
HOURS of WORK : 21 hours per week
SCHEDULE : Monday-Thursday 10:00 am-2:00 pm Friday 10-3:00 pm
REPORTS TO : CI & SD Program Coordinator
COMPENSATION : $25.95 - $29.76 per hour (Grid 10 as per collective agreement)
