Job summary

The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in Recreation or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience. This position offers a salary range of $69,080.00 to $92,107.00, with 35 hours of work per week, based at Huron Park Community Centre.

Qualifications

• Must have current CPR and Standard First Aid Certification.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Vulnerable Sector Screening acceptable to the City of Mississauga.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement recreation programs.
• Provide customer service and resolve issues.
• Produce marketing materials for programs.

Skills

Post-secondary education in Recreation, Phys Ed, Kinesiology or related field

Minimum 3 years progressive experience in Recreation or related field

Excellent customer service skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and structural software applications

Knowledge of Active Net registration system

Ability to travel between sites
