Job summary

A healthcare provider seeks a Public Health Nurse in Saskatoon to provide health information and crisis intervention services. This part-time role involves interviewing clients for sexually transmitted infections and delivering community educational programs. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and experience working with Indigenous clients is an asset. Competitive pay within the Nurse B pay band ranges from $42.040 to $52.440 per hour. Travel may be required for outreach programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year Public Health Nursing experience is an asset.
• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).

Responsibilities

• Provides health information, crisis intervention, and referrals.
• Interviews and examines clients for sexually transmitted infections.
• Provides outreach services including condom distribution and needle exchange.
