Job summary

A leading home health care provider in Ontario seeks Registered Nurses (RNs) and Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) for full-time positions in Mitchell and surrounding areas. In this role, you will develop effective Care Plans and provide exceptional nursing services, working both in-person and virtually. This is a Full-Time position in the Mitchell and surrounding areas.

Hours of work are within a 2-week rotation inclusive of weekends, weekdays, and on‑call work.

Wages

  • For Registered Nurses (RN)- This position offers a competitive compensation grid, with progression based on hours worked and role‑specific criteria. The RN per general visit range is $ 27.00 to $39.87 and the RN hourly range is $31.15 to $46.00. Placement within the grid will be determined in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
  • For Registered Practical Nurses (RPN)- This position offers a competitive compensation grid, with progression based on hours worked and role‑specific criteria. The RPN per general visit range is $ 22.97 to $28.62 and the RPN hourly range is $26.38 to $32.40. Placement within the grid will be determined in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
What The Role Involves
  • Developing and maintaining an effective Care Plan with respect to Community Health Services, independently or in cooperation with the Ontario Health atHome.
  • Working with patients (both in‑person and virtually) to provide exceptional nursing services
  • Providing services in a variety of settings which may include in‑home, clinic, retirement home or school
  • Communicating and liaising with patients, family members and others within the interdisciplinary care team
  • Performing other clinical duties as required
What You Bring
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) degree or diploma
  • Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
  • A strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • A valid driver’s license and vehicle as regular travel is required
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • CPR Certification
  • Current immunization record including 2 step TB test
  • To protect our patients, we require a current vulnerable sector check and a clear background check
